i could write a top 20 „favorite moments“ in my life list“¦.but man“¦nothing will EVER take the place of playing „Housequake“ in Prince living room and Sheila E and Prince beaming down on me like proud parents. that was the only time i got overwhelmed with my job. i would sit in that mildew infested basement for HOURS listening to their music (never playing the drum patterns for i didn“™t wanna give myself away that i was listening to the only artist banned in the thompson household-) one day praying i could be a peer. man that night was special to me.
