Anhören: Gorillaz „The Fall“

Am Christmas Day, 25. Dezember verschenken die Gorillaz ihr neues Album „The Fall“ an die Mitglieder des Gorillaz-Fanclub Subdivision. „The Fall“ wurde während der US-Tour der Gorillaz im Oktober (im Herbst daher auch der Albumtitel) aufgenommen. Produziert wurde das Album überwiegend auf dem iPad.

Im Interview mit der australischen Radion Station Triple J hat Damon Albarn die Details zum neuen Album verraten. Das gesamte Interview mit dem Gorillaz Frontmann und eine wunderbare Studio Session („Melancholy Hill“, „Rhinestone Eyes“ und „To Binge“ feat. The 15 track sonic journal, titled The Fall, produced by Gorillaz and Stephen Sedgwick, will be available to download for free by Sub Division fan club members on Christmas Day and will also be streamed on Gorillaz.com from Christmas Day.

Physisch soll „The Fall“ in 2011 erscheinen.
