WIth every performance of the Kid A opener you can hear Thom Yorke singing the intro of a the actual song, but also other Radiohead songs and every now and then somebody else“™s song, which is recorded on the spot by Jonny Greenwood and then sampled throughout the song. This time the intro was a Yeah Yeah Yeahs cover; „˜Maps“™.
