This is the first of a new mixtape series i will put out to showcase modern funk & boogie artists. Call it Nu-Funk, Modern Funk, Retro Funk, Nu-Disco or whatever you like. I thought i call it Now Funk…all these tracks are modern takes on the classic 80s Funk & Boogie sound that lives on all around the world trough artists and labels such as: Cool Million, Tuxedo, Damn Funk, First Touch, XL Middleton, Opolopo, Breakbot, Omega Supreme Records, Mofunk Records, Sedsoul Records and many more including myself.
