Die neuste Ausgabe von „Midnight Soulstice“ widmet sich ganz den neuen „New Funk“ Veröffentlichungen. Den Schwerpunkt setzen Mr. Felty and DJ Pari dabei ganz klar auf Sharon Jones und die Dap-Kings und auf Kings Go Forth.
Kings Go Forth, die am 20. April ihr Debut „The Outsiders Are Back“ veröffentlichen, dürften Kennern bereits bekannt sein. Ich kannte sie noch nicht, aber laut Pari gehört ihr Album zu den meisterwarteten Soul/Funk Veröffentlichungen in 2010. Also zieht euch die Show rein Funk/Soul-Brothers.
